hey Please help me.. How can people call me from regular phones or how can I call people who use regular phones, if The Nokia N81o does NOT uses a Sim Card..where do I buy those cards to put some credit to my NokiaN810.. Do people have to add something to my number when they call me.. How do I know which is my number?

You don't buy credit from Nokia, you buy credit from Skype. Skype has a SkypeOut service which lets you phone normal numbers, and a SkypeIn service which gives you a normal phone number that people can call. If you buy both these services from Skype, you can use them on the N810 or on your PC or both. All you need for SkypeIn and SkypeOut is an internet connection, you don't need any kind of ordinary phone service.

That's just for normal phone calls though. If you're chatting Skype to Skype, the calls are totally free.

First of all, what failed? Were you trying to update the firmware? Secondly, don't worry if it has failed, you can reinstall the firmware again. Thirdly, go to the Internet Tablet School site (the link is in my channel) and go to the tutorial on updating the firmware. Follow the instructions EXACTLY, and it should work. Fourthly, if it doesn't work, go to the Internet Tablet Talk forums and post in the Newbie section about what your problem is.

can u stay signed in on skype all the time? u no like..to get incoming calls from regular cellphones/skype anytime...

Yes you can, you can leave Skype running in the background by pressing the minimise button in the top right corner. In effect, Skype turns the tablet into a phone.

I HAVE A QUESTION... could this device create a sms text message and calls by connecting it to a bluetooth mobile phone? - phonelink software? i mean n810 will serve as screen(monitor) and a bluetooth phone will be the phone itself... and if there are new text messages received or an incoming call it will display it in the n800... and can ieven browse the files of the phone through the n810?

I sent you a reply to this in a message, basically check out the Internet Tablet Talk forums for more info on this.

how do u talk bak its jus speakers? plz mesage me to tell me!!
tabletschool (Monday 28th of July 2008 04:01:12 AM)
It's not just speakers, the tablets have a built-in microphone too, so you can talk like you would on a speakerphone. You put the tablet on a table and talk to it like you would talk to a person. If you want privacy you can also use the headset that comes with the tablets, and the tablets are also compatible with Bluetooth wireless headsets.
