man i can understand what you mean...i use to be a hardcore rise against fan until they released there new album which wasnt the greatest but dude i dont trash talk rise against
i dont think you trash talk flames..just cause there a littel different know, besides its false hope, they proably wont change
and for the record this stuff could never be played on mtv its still too hardcore for mtv's audience

They're becoming a pop band, something that can be played on MTV. Most people who don't like the pre-2000 albums should stop listening to In Flames, that was their true identity. I'll always know this band for what it used to be.

why cant people wrap their heads around the fact that bands progress nothing stays the same.... sure its ure opinion if its better or worse but why would anyone try to sound worse and become less successful

does it really have to be so fucking melo? isn't it better to evolve than just being left behind with the same sound for 20 years? take slayer for example, They have played basicly the exact same stuf since -83, and it gets a bit too similar, and at times boring over long time.

In Flames is In Flames...why do we have to classify them as "old" or "new"...its the same band they where since 1994, sure they may have changed their sound, but their doing it for them...not for you or me. They want you to like whatever songs you want from which ever album you want...but not to classify them as old or new as they are the same people.

KAggaand, i have to agree with you.
Inflames was amazing around the time of Lunar Strain, Subteranean, Jesters Race etc...
now...its just like every mainstream metal band..and no not saying they suck, their music still has a strong message.
