PcLinuxOS linux rocks!
BackThis is a small clip i made from running a Live CD of PClinuxOS 2007 on my HP Pavilion zx5000. No changes made to the cd only selected the 3d Option in settings! Linux ROcks!

No, no Windows versions are Unix based...and I am glad it's not!
...if Windows move over to Unix, you will start finding viruses in Mac and Linux as it is in Windows today!

It's true, I would recommend you to use Linux Mint which is a "out of the box" version of Ubuntu. PCLinuxOS still have a lot to do to become user-friendly
