reddit goes open source: message from the alien mascot
Backreddit.com went open source on June 17th and the alien was asked -- no, told -- to put this video together to explain it. alexis ohanian (http://kn0thing.com) was aided by iMovieHD and justin kan (justin.tv) who provided the excellent voice-acting he's famous for.

Thanks, it was just the right thing to do. Open sourcing, that is -- not making a RobotChicken knock-off video explaining why we did it. That was just gratuitous :)
