Gary is an idiot. He doesn't comprehend the fact that the government's methodology for calculating the CPI has changes dramatically over the years. But then again, he probably does not comprehend the meaning of "methodology." I'm an engineer and I know numbers and I know the meaning of the word "methodology" and that by changing methodologies, you can make numbers turn out any way you want to meet your agenda. But Gary will of course claim that to be a conspiracy theory. Thus, he is an idiot.

Whatever, the more losers there are the more time we liberty lovers have to invest. The only problem is that the longer the gov't prolongs the deep recession the worse it becomes for the normal guy.

Gary is wrong! Inflation last month was 4.4%, anything over 4 is a recession. Truth is probably somewhere between Peter and Gary, but Gary is way too off. Only thing he is right is on Oil, the price dipped from $140+ to around $120 + and -.

"The fed has never been wrong." What a dipshit. US CPI numbers dont include food or energy prices. Whats been going through the roof lately? Real CPI numbers would scare the shit out of Americans. I love it how the say Peter is wrong because he's been bearish since 02. "I bought, oil, gold, foreign currencies." Sounds like a perfect play to me.
