This song has much import, the hard lessons we learn, the lessons we fogot, and the lessons we wish we could relive. Oh father, the lessons of life, how you taught them so well and at the same so badly...this video reminds me of the lessons, even though I'm a male and twenty eight years of age, I still cry when I hear this. To all those of you who survived, I love you all. Be strong, find that power in yourself to get through and at the end you will finally understand.

I love this song. it has so much meaning thank you for posting this. I was emotionally abused as a child and this song has so much meaning to me.

People who have been hurt, tend to hurt others. It's like the video on here says, someone really hurt your dad in his life. Unfortunately, when we hurt we sometimes hurt the ones we love. Just because your dad hurt you it doesn't mean that he didn't love you. You don't have to justify what he did, forgive the man that he probably wanted to be, even though he wasn't strong enough to be.
