I don't disagree that hip-hop has it's greats just like other genre's of music do. I think probably every genre on earth has at least one band or musician that is worth listening to. Though Tupac would not be my example of good hip-hop. He came out after hip-hop wasn't original anymore too. If you want hip-hop that can be compared to Neil Young in greatness try the really early stuff like Grandmaster Flash or Afrika Bambataa.

you think it's a simple song? ok, post a video of you playing the little fills and tricks on the C and the F while pounding out the bass line. let me see you play the decending three notes on the A string while cleanly picking the D chord that opens each verse. i play most neil songs - trust me, this is one of the more deceptive ones. twat.
