still didn't find a way to fix it but does the HDMI cable for my ps3 give out sound too? if my monitor had speakers.

okay. is it alright if i only plug it in on my ps3 and nothing else? i only plugged it in my monitor to see and my ps3 system and so far everytime i do that my monitor would go auto detect .

OKAY i bought everything now... i bought the power plug the hdmi cable for my ps3 to plug it in.Heres the problem i plugged in my ps3 to the converter box and my Monitor cord and i switched it to "ON" the back. (also tried Off) and i don't see my ps3 on my monitor screen.what am i doing wrong?

THAT power cord that you put in. wth is that? i just bought one just now. do i have to buy a plug in for it? cause i cant seem to plug it in :/

If you're talking about the small round plug that is the power plug...you'll probably need a power plug converter. The prongs on the power plug that goes into the socket was European or something. It had like 3 big prongs. You'll need an adapter that connects to it with a US plug on it. You can find it at Radio Shack or electronics shop where ever you live.
