I agree. Blood Meridian reigns above all of his other works but All the Pretty Horses is right up there.

I notice that no one on this thread has discussed Cormacs 'Border Trilogy' thus far (All the Pretty Horses, The Crossing, and Cities of the Plain)...What do you guys think about those works?
Personally, I think 'All the Pretty Horses' ranks right up there with the best of his prose. 'The Crossing' and 'CofP' were good but not great.
