This is called "western riding". The oject is to make your lead changes nice and flowing inbetween the cones. They judge on how well your horse can execute flying lead changes on a weave (like polebending) and cross changes. (changeing in the middle of the arena. I think that they have to do 4 cross changes. and 4 weave changes if I'm not mistaking.

I do Western riding! <33 Well, ive been couple of times on riding-classes. ;D A week ago, when we were at the ranch and riding calmly and slowly, my horse decides "hey, Im gonna run and show that little bastard in my back how to ride!". There we went, i was screaming some "rude-words" and the horse was simply enjoying it! D'oh!
