i gave up trying to play it like him...just cant get the stretch.. so i play it open A,capo 2nd fret..then Dadd9 (open high E)with a G bass..then the same chord but with an open E bass..its not perfect but it's close enough....hope this helps

I saw him last night here in Germany... when he prepared his encore I yelled "In My Fathers House!!!" and he smiled and said "Yeah, In My Fathers House it is" and played that song... He is amazing, a gifted guitarist, an incredible singer and unbelievably nice easy-going. Thank you Eric Bibb!
