Correct. Still, if one really hears something, it should be easy to distinguish it from higher level association. For example, I imagined a higher pitch sound when expanding, and a lower pitch when retracting. It didn't manifest as sensory stimulus, but an association from the motion to sound that had some structural similarities to components of the visual information that I would see on the screen. That is not synaesthesia. Look up "kiki bouba effect" on google.

i know i have synthaesthesia but i dont think this i s my area, all though there was a kinda bubbleing noise maybe . . .

i heard an "ieee" when it was moving to the center, and heard a "uuhhh" when it was moving out. however, i wonder if i still would've heard something if they didn't ask the question.
