We have more atheists today because people are tired of religion, which teaches fear. It is taught that we must fear God. But this God does not exist. The God of the Jews is vengeful, the God of Christians is compassionate, Islamic God is a warrior and Hindu God rewards and punishes. Organized religions are like a cult and people are tired of them. Whatever is being preached there is no evidence of God. Yes, there is a God, which is a kind of light that is shared by all living beings from bacteria to humans. That light is you and you exist. People are becoming atheist because they are more curious about the existence of God. The atheist might find God because he is searching. Even if they don't find God they find themselves. Atheists are real seekers and I bless them. This guy is an idiot. All of the axioms he is basing his arguments on are not axioms at all, but opinions or theories supported by half shot science.

I must confess i am very impressed with this guy. I am an atheist, not because i belive that there is no god but more because i know that no god has been proved and so there is god that can exsist, only things that can be proved can exsist. At some point in the future a gods exsistance may be proved and i will be the first to belive, thats the greatest iromy that the ateiests are the true seekeres of god rather than the blind followers of un-proofs and weak, contradictory texts, sad but true.

people are turning to atheist for one simple reason....evolution.
some of us have evolved to think logically and rationally about what we are told.rather that blindley following the most ridiculous of religious beliefs.
religious? want to be an atheist without outside involvement? ask logical questions to anyone religious, doesnt matter who, but the responses will be more than enough for you to realize the moronic reality of religion.

with all due respect, there is no Jewish God, Christian God or Islamic God. Jews, Muslims, and Christians worship the same God, but just follow different revelations. And be sure to know the various, core beliefs in Hinduism, including Atheism. The Nobel Laureate, Amartya Sen, is a Hindu Atheist. Atheists can also be Hindus.
