How can FFVII have a better story?... it's about sephiroth getting psycho and cloud have to stop him. Where as FFVIII you'll find out it's about love, nothing beats a thrilling love story tbh.

Sorry Chief, but I have got to declare "bullshit". I got nothing against love stories and the like, the ladies dig 'em. The downside to a love story is the blasted thing is drawn out to the point of severely detracting from the actual play-time of the game. Action is much faster paced but then again it too drags out with bullcrap subplots. Hell. . .either variety ya like, its bound to have some crap element that fouls the bloody thing to hell and back. Awesome, I contradicted myself!

I gotta disagree with you about Zidane he was definitely the most badass character in IX and I loved Tidus but Auron was the man but Vaan absolutely sucked.

Yea, I gues as far as that game's chars went he was the coolest. Don't get me wrong, I loved those charaters and I loved that game but it wasn't exactly fruitfull with badassness. The black waltz #3 was pretty awesome. kinda wish he was in dissidia instead of Kuja even though that would make like 0 sense lol.
