Die Deutsche Wehrmacht. Hitler faces and nazi-hitler parades are not shown on this for reasonable things. I try to remind all that Wehrmacht was more a prussian army than nazi. Yes Wehrmacht did warcrimes so did US. Army, Red Army and so on. But barbaric executions and deathunits were wearing SS uniform. And basic soldiers were just a normal farmers, doctors and workers. And many officers were more prussian officers and gived a shit for national socialism. The best soldiers who ever served in battle. Small groups of highly trained, professional and techinically advanced Germans took on the world in a mad display of bravery and almost won. That Germany was able to nearly defeat the combined resources and material of the developed world is a testament to the character of the German military. The esprit de corps and military inivations are still marvelled at- as time passes the true extent of their military achievements becomes more clear.

I agree wth the guy who posted this video. I am of prussian descent and I know my history. People judge germans of being evil, but that isnt true. the SS was a small force nd they were the ones who went around killing jews and slavs. Hitler got us into the mess of WWII, its not like the army had a choice, now they had to fight to defend their families.

I read a lot of books about the wars from the German point of view and the Wehrmacht hated the SS for their their power and brutality.

German army were Reichswehr still in early 1930s but when Hitler gained power in germany the Reichswehr began a secret programme of expansion. The secret programme of expansion became public with the formal announcement of the Wehrmacht in 1935.
