In this video, I talk about jim48116's idea of creating a ChipIn! widget to get me and my wife an iPhone 3G upgrade. Jim approached me yesterday on live.bwana.tv and asked if it were possible to setup a fund raiser to get it done. I was a bit hesitant at first since I rarely ask for anything in return for the things I do, but I decided to do it anyway to see what happens. Seconds after I posted the ChipIn! Widget, Jim donated $50!!! Jrblaze in the chat room asked if my wife would be jealous if I got an upgrade and she didn't. Well... yeah she would. So Jim suggested I increase the amount of the ChipIn! widget to account for both of our upgrades. Soon after, Jim donated ANOTHER $50!!! Amazing. I think its a good idea i mean he's helped me out alot with my iphone and im sure with a bunch of others. So I dont think its a bad thing to donate to.. see its a you scratch my back il scratch yours kinda thing.. we help him get a iphone he helps us non techy ppl out
