As Chris said in this video, its come down the what your willing to spend on a GPU but also what you want that GPU to do. I.e. Im a Major gamer, playing at 1680x1050 on a 20" HD monitor so i want GPU's which can handle that resolution as well as the setting i choose. So i have 2 3870xt's, why?, because it was cheaper for me (having a Crossfire mobo) to get a second card rather than get a new card altogether.
