I peed on my device today, they would charge me 118 dollars to cancel it, I ve had it for 6 motnhs and never used it, cause it wouldnt work,,when I signed up, they said there is no contract on disconnection fee, and I made sure I asked them, and called again the next day to make sure. to sign up I spoke to a person with a heavy accent for two hrs, next day I found a 5 dollar charge on my acct, I called them and explained that I have already paid the activation and all the dues

Don't you love being called a 'losser' by people who can't spell? :) That's like... calling you someone who 'lost' something, a losser, which is technically what happened, so not really an insult.

You should try the "MagicGate". My wife bought it, plugged it in, and had 0 problems.

i had vonage, was staticy constantly, dropped calls all the time. sometimes ud pickup the phone n there would be nothing, couldnt dial..
called tech support so many times got nowhere, switched out the phone switched the little box same problems. hated it, the problem with tech support now (i was a agent for hp for years) agents have no power to actually fix anything related to money. like the person u talk 2 doesnt have the power to wave that 200$ fee. pain in the ass

Actually, AT&T's CallVantage service was rated above all the others in call clarity, and they're cheaper than Vonage too - if you get their discount for using it combined with their cellular service. I don't know a single person who tried Vonage who still used it after a few months. I'm sure it works fine for some people, but they're obviously not cutting it in customer service, if they charge you to cancel!

Vonage does work out well, I have it as well, you just got to know how to set it up and how to use it, and plus you go have a one month trial, if you can't get it working you can cancel for no charge. Just go through their terms of service and you'll understand.

You may be right... but I think when so many people can't figure it out that BBB takes it off the list... you know the company didn't know how to make itself useful to the common consumer, which gives it thumbs down in my book.
I was lookin' at Vonage 'till this ad, and reviews on many other sites. This guy is faaar from alone
