What's with the stated "For a ONE TIME START-UP FEE"??? 100% of advertising I've seen for this GPS has advertised LIFETIME FREE traffic conditions reporting!!! If there's a "One time start-up fee," THAT means the "Lifetime FREE traffic conditions" is BLATANTLY FALSE ADVERTISING!!! If ANY "start-up fee" is charged, then the service is NO LONGER FREE!!!

Does anyone want to know what the machine should say."you are entering a gang stronghold of a neighborhood,please turn left here to avoid"."You are entering the ghetto"."Please turn right at next light to avoid." It should be able to say this to you,especially if you in places like Philly or Detroit visiting family or friends.

i have the Navigon 5100 and it only works with the memory card in it, do anyone know just in case i lost the card that can i just go to store that sales the same memory card for it or i have to buy another

Caveat emptor !!!! Caution if you buy a LCD TV or a Laptop form SHOPNBC the odds are it will come from Tiger direct Caveat emptor!!!!!! Tiger direct is with their coconspirator SHOP NBC is also not paying the proper sales tax in IL, NC, TX and FLA Tiger direct drop ships for SHOPNBC in their own packages to fulfill ShopNBC orders and they knowing do not collect the proper sales tax. Spread the word.

Not so Sure about this thing it always give me the direction and takes me the long way around every where, as Far as getting you there it will do but as far as getting you there at the shortist distance, forget it you will notice being in a familiar area and getting stupid answer on how to get there, the 3d view is almost non existent so dont get it for the cool pic on the box you'll rarely ever see that, but for 150 bucks @ radio shack Id go for it

you should be able to change that, there should be an option for shortest distance in the menu!
