This series is based off of the Sookie Stackhouse mysteries by Charlain Harris. I haven't watched the series yet, but the books are crazy good. I love them. I'll have to see what the series is like in comparison.

i was suspect of the whole vampire thing before i watched this, but the first episode just reels you in whether you want it to or not and your hooked for good!!!!!

i agree with that. I read twlight and watched this every week. this series is more action, Twilight is more romance. they both even each other out

Okay I read Twilight and I LOVE LOVE LOVE it. Is this worth getting into. Should I read the books or watch the movie. I loved the passion in Twilight. Although they didn't have sex until later. All the little bits where they were about to were enough and I loved them. Is this worth watching? Or should I read the first book. Do I have to read them all to know what's going on in the show?

Ok, for all you vampire fans out there, and there seems to be a lot of them from reading some comments, try watching Buffy. I'm judging this from a trailer, but buffy just seems so much better. Even better, watch Angel. Its not so much of a cult hit, but it kicks ass
