One more thing. I agree with 'keeping things open' mentality. It appeals to geeks and nerds (no disrespect I am one myself)makes them want to get in and improve. So what if you can't make money off the improvements, at least you can sell the devices.

Except when they want to buy you a very cheap device, like an EEE for less than 400 bucks and they don't want to add the price of a windows licence.
