dang i hate to hear people hating on A7x personally i think they are badass they are almost more of the alternative metal really there isnt any real EMO in them as emo is completely different dude emo is like fall out boy no real guitar playing... just some strumming and maybe a tiny baby solo that anyone could play a7x has some seriously skilled guitarists and actually listen to some of their HARDER stuff you will learn to love em dude check out Eternal Rest+Second Heartbeat just to see

once again... you dont know what emo sounds like if you call them emo there isnt even such a thing as Emo Metalcore they are very different sounds anything with Core on the end relates to VERY fast beats kind of like standard metal drum beats but more based in punk where the genre originated as Hardcore Punk the metal in metal core comes from increased distortion and in many cases screaming vocals metalcore sounds like shit check it out on wikipedia dude people have very bent beliefs in music

also just wanted to add a little more to my other one emo bands are horrible guitar players never have i seen a emo band play difficult songs and these guys have some techniqual ones but its whatever really i just dont see how these guys are at all emo really... even their softer songs are just that nothing like cut myself cutmyself *girly voice* and also you may knowtice no extra tight jeans

ok... so i could see the relation between Screamo and metal and metalcore as many do scream but there music is in no way emo... its niether emo in meaning or sound so im not sure where that comes from i mean ... maybe im just horribly out of style with emo but i remember less than a year ago listening to some of my girlfriends bands that i consider complete emo and this sounds nothing like it im not trying to argue and get angry about it i just think you should go look up what emo sounds like
