So you can guarantee British soldiers never, in the entire war, burned a church with people in it? Horrible things happen in war. Countries and even armies should not be blamed for actions of individual units or soldiers. However, if you want to debate British conduct during the Revolutionary War, let's talk about British prison ships.

The question isn't can i gaurantee it didnt happen, the question is can you gaurantee it did?, The fact is they werent Nazi's, and during the Revolutionary war American prisoners were technically British men who had commited treason, i'm not saying it was right but that's how it was. Thus the cost of freedom, but they were combatants not women and children...

Actually, my question still stands. While I can't guarantee this specific atrocity happened, I can guarantee a lot of other ones did. That's what happens in war. The British were in hostile territory, so they are the ones who had to face a hostile population. As I said, what individual soldiers did can't be used to convict the conduct of the entire British Army, but horrible things still happened, and it's important to remember that.
