Producer Timbaland rips song from finnish musician?

The producer Timbaland seems to have used a six year old song from a finish musician and used it for the song "Do it" by Nelly Furtado. Timbaland also used the song as a "Timbaland Original Ringtone" in 2005! I would like to add something else too: the point of these videos was to show the similarities between the songs. For some reason that is completely foreign to me, some users feel that this is the forum to express their hateful and racist comments about other people. I WILL NOT TOLERATE SUCH BEHAVIOUR! If you want to comment the videos, that is fine, but BE ADULT ABOUT IT! If the only thing that you can think of writing is something you wouldn't like said about yourself then don't write it. If the hateful and racist comments continue, I will simply disable the commenting-feature. Thank you for your time.

Dude this isn't exactly breaking news. It's part of hip hop. A lot of Hip Hop artists do this, and most with permission. Including Timbaland. If anything, it helps the dead beat artists, whose music was used.

Tony, 1 loop? maybe 1 BAR loop, but this goes WAY beyond that.. part of the backbone of a tune (the melody)... do you know how much of the original song is used in tim's version? obviously not or you'd not make your ill informed comment. p.s. it's a producer ;-)

maybe u didnt read what i wrote, but timbaland took a melody and used his own sounds on that mel, sampling is when cutting a part from song, like a loop that u described.. but u must have read me wrong..

no thats different thats called stealing, because it already is copy wrighted. but you can record the stuff in your voice and record your people playing the song and once its copy wrighted then you can sell it as your own because you did a song. EXAMPLE: Britney spears; she never wrote her own stuff (maybe her newest stuff she did, but i dont know) but her older stuff she didnt write it but her band and her produced it and made it there own.
