The rebel flag isn't about slavery and racism to everyone, though. Southerners who don't view the belt buckle as a sign of slavery (because the war was not just over slavery, free slaves even fought for the south), or if they are so stupid, at least have the common sense not to say racist things to others, they have every right to wear it to show pride in their heritage. I wore a confederate flag necklace out of pride that my ancestors fought for what they belived in, not what they believed in.

i agree with ghostykins. im a proud southerner and i wear the confederate flag all the time and have one hangin on the side of my barn. it aint racist and doesnt have anything to do with racism.
