AC tig welding T-joint with pulse.
BackI was inspired by Alex good looking t-joint tig weld yesterday. I just had to tig weld a 2.5mm aluminium T-joint with pulse. Pulse settings and final weld puddle shown in movie. After the welding I was so happy with the weld puddle that I was extra happy for at least 3 hours... .

Damn I want a TIG outfit. MIG was a great advancement when it came on the scene, but I do a lot of custom motorcycle work, and I'm tired of paying a TIG artist to do it for me. Thanks for the video.

Clev5150. Take the time to learn Pulse welding and you might find its a good deal when to tig weld thinwall Stainless headders, or thin wall Aluminum.. Try it out first.. It has nothing to do if you are new to tig weld or had tig weld all your entire life.

Pulse machines are for beginners that lack the timing to do it with their foot! His weld looks good but is a little large for the thickness of the aluminum. To get my certification where I work I had to pass a 3F(vertical-up) on .032 6061 AL. I passed on my first try. This German tool doesn't have shit on me!! LOL!

I just started a welding school in Germany and I don't know anything about pulse welding Tig, but it looks alot different then what I do on a T joint. I use 65 to 67 amps with 2.0 mm filler on 2 mm plates and the welds look small nickels layed on one another.
