That's sort of unrelated.
You should listen to this song again...
and sing for those who are anti-abortion!

"sing for the children, shooting the children." Then you tell me what that means, if you think your so damn smart. I'm not bashing on anti-abortionist, I'm bashing on the people who think WAR is okay. Dum ass.

Okay, I understand. You really should write more clearly. Plus, I interpreted the line about children shooting children to apply more to Columbine, Gaza strip or something like that- not really military war. But now I think both apply. In any case, if that was your point, then the comparison to abortion was really out of place. Because, really, you don't sound anti-war but only against people who support war but not abortion. Leaving people who support abortion AND war out of the loop.

I also unerstand now your point. Everyone has their own take on a song. Sorry, just frustrated by all the hypocritical things I've been hearing from Republicans. Anit-abortion but pro-war, Christians but gun lovin. This song just struck a chord, that's all.

Or how Darfur is.
They are ordered to be soilders for their country at a young age.

alot of times the point of music is to be vague enough to allow your own interpretation as it applies in your life
so it could be about columbine, children in darfur, our soldiers in iraq or all of the above
It is a little sad that people would come into a thread for such a beautiful, tolerant and hopeful song and spew name calling and intolerance
you have missed the point of the song
SING!
