this is a nice phone and evreything, and i have a iphone 3g but no other phone can beat the fact the iphone has the ipod built in. i havent seen a phone that can conpare to the music that the iphone has. it just depends on who u are, i love the fact i can listen to my music and text all on one device. but if u dont care much for music then the 3g might be better for u

Yes thats true because I heard the G1 does pretty much the same thing as the sidekick lx ... so i'm sticking with my lx and thank you for the advice.

hmmm, i personally like actual buttons better. I have an iTouch and i have problems typing every once in a while, having to retype a word. However, i'm sure you would get used to the difference and would eventually not have a problem typing on the iphone. Whats cool about the G1 is it has a full qwerty keyboard. so really its just personal prefference

yeah i know what you mean but i think that you have to use the real keypad, the iphone is better in that way haha.

Well, since you have the sidekick lx, I don't think it would be a good idea if you switched. The only thing that would change would be the screen, since the screen on the G1 is a touch screen. In other words, stay with your sidekick lx. I'm not saying it's better than the G1, only that since you have the sidekick lx, it might not be smart to switch. On the other side, the G1 is a pretty cool phone, but probably not enough to make the switch. Hope this helps =]
