Here's an idea: Oswald set up the scene so it would seem like a conspiricy, so he could do much greater damage to the government over time than any bullet could. He could have used a high volocity weapon then switched them around and hid it. But no one can even really be right on anything these days, even the events happening right before us, let alone the past.

To believe the official govt story for the SS actions you must believe JFK cancelled 99% of security, endangering everyone in the car, because some putzes complained the President's visits were upsetting (no doubt a story concocted prior to the assassination), and you must believe SS is just window dressing - and even that doesn't cover SS weird behavior. If the windows weren't allowed to be open, it would be easy to see if one suddenly opened. They wanted to show a pattern of lax security.
