For a great read, look up 'Rising Tide'. Blowing up levees for one reason or another (concerning NOLA) is nothing new. :( Trivia stuff (that isn't trivial) if you use google earth, check out the area of the Mississippi delta - if you zoom out a bit, look at all the 'oxbows' - even miles inland you can see where that monster of water went when it damn well felt like it. :( The movies Old Man River and O Brother Where Art Thou bring it up, too - the great flood of 1927.

That was great. Thanks for posting! It's amazing to hear such a high level of musicianship from that time period. This kind of playing was ahead of it's time.
