Nice, but there could be a reason why it didn't work. I'm not 100% sure of the situation, but from what I can tell the DSL modem could be locked to the wireless's MAC address. If you power cycle it should correct it. If not, then you may have to do a mac clone on the vonage device so the modem can "think" its still talking to the wireless router. Also, its not good to reset your wireless since you loose all your config, including wireless security. In the end, no matter what - it works!!! :)

Great post, but what if you don't have a separate router? SOL? No! If you have a PC, Vonage, Internet, what you do is get a USB cable for your internet modem, hook the modem to PC, vonage to the NIC (ethernet cable port) on the PC and use internet sharing, Voila! Turns the PC into a router more or less. Anyhow, Great post once again and thanks for your service in the military.

Well... I know about them, I've got two that I carry when I'm doing DOD work. One is from Goodfellow AFB and the other is from a B-2 Bomber Squad. We also carry one with our Fire Department to remind our guys of their required level of professional actions. Stay Safe, FirehouseMike (Old Guy)

do not waste money on vonage if ur in the US , there are lot of other VOIP providers with better service quality Vonage call quality is really bad for the price
